Methods Program

Once you have graduated from our SDU® program or have taken the prerequisite courses (Color and Layout Design), you are then eligible to take these advanced classes. The Methods program features classes designed to refine your skills in specific area of interest. At the end of each Methods class, a special collectable pin is provided for you to proudly display!

Methods: " Pattern Paper" Class
Take the knowledge you acquired earlier about color theory, and apply it to working with patterned paper. You will learn about the parts that comprise the whole of patterned paper, and will discover how color and pattern work together to create a harmonious scrapbook layout!

“Hello, Color!!” Layout Class Tuesday, March 13th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
March is officially here and, to me, that means Spring is right around the corner. I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t look at another winter photo with hats, gloves and scarves, so I decided to usher in some sunshine myself with this fun and colorful layout class. Regardless of what the weather is outside, we’ll be thinking all about bright, cheery days ahead when we learn how to make paper grass and flower embellishments for this 2-page, 12x12 layout. We will be using lots of ribbon, felt, buttons, rhinestone flowers and fabulous colored patterns and cardstock. This layout is suitable for any spring-like photos in your stash – backyard garden photos, pets running through the green grass, arboretum pictures, botanical gardens, etc. So bring your scissors, adhesive, trimmer and circle cutters and let’s bask in our own sunshine!! It's time for spring! What better way to get it started, then in a card class. This months theme is all about spring and Easter with Spring Blooms #H161 for the stamp of the month. With spring comes a new beginning, baby chicks and Easter and the cards we will be making cover that. Learn how to use heat emboss and add glitter to your cards. We will be using the stamp of the month in all 6 of these cards showing how versatile one stamp can be. We will be adding ribbons, buttons anf brads that add a personal touch to every project.

All card pieces are pre-cut for you.

All you need to bring to class is a god adhesive and a black ink pad.

Cori's Easy Pattern Class

Inspired by "Creating Keepsakes" Easy Pattern Book, you will be learning how to get the most out of your supplies. Cori will teach you the how easy it is to take this pile of cut up pattern papers and create three 12x12 two-page layouts for your Easter or Spring photos along with making three cards.

To help move the class along, Cori will be pre-cutting the papers.
This way everyone will be able to complete all the layouts and cards.
