All About Me Scrapbook Class!

Join us for our second month of All About Me! Each month we will create a double 12x12 layout focusing on different aspects of you, your personality, your life and the people you love. We don't often take the time in our scrapbooking to document all of the little details of ourselves. When complete, your All About Me book will be THE ONE book that your children, grandchildren, spouse, and all family and friends will cherish the most. They will get to know you much better through your book. This month we will be exploring what you do in a typical day as well as the prices of some of the things you purchase regularly. So start thinking about all your days entail as well as jot down the prices of things like gas, milk, internet access, etc. The page sample will be in the store by Tuesday, May 13.

Materials needed: paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, black photo safe pen or marker and your list of prices.

If you think you've seen it all in scrapbooking, think again! This album begins and ends with a pair of shoes. In this class you will make an accordion album with shoes acting as the front and back covers. You will be mounting the shoes on wooden blocks to act as book ends, of sorts. You will need to bring in your own pair of shoes to use for the album. They can be new off the shelf (I found mine at Target), your child's first shoes, or any old pair you like. Just be sure that the shoe has a back heel. (Flip flop type shoes will not work for this class.) Be sure to come into the store to see the class sample.
