Dry your eyes, the ceremony is over and you have pictures to scrap! This month we will be creating a beautiful, 2-page layout to showcase your graduation photos. With a classic look and elegant touches, this layout was designed to accommodate photos of preschool graduation all the way through the Ph.D ceremony. The foundation of the layout is gray, black and white, with one additional accent color of your choosing. In my sample, I chose blue to coordinate with my photos, but you may select one Bazzill cardstock color to match your school colors or photos.

I will walk you through the design of the layout, with a focus on creative lettering arrangement for your title (using the pre-glittered chipboard alphabet), creative use of rub-ons, inking, stamping and ribbon looping, along with a brief discussion on overcoming creative obstacle.

Let me help you transform this design to meet your needs.

Below is a list of supplies that might be helpful to bring along to the class. However, please still come even if you don’t have all of these supplies, as I will bring my own stash to share if needed.photos: (3) 4x6 inch photos (2 horizontal, 1 vertical – the 2 horizontal photos will be trimmed down in class to approximately 3 ½ x 4 ½ inches); journaling: approximately 6 lines of text printed on white cardstock using triple spacing between lines so they can be cut apart; scissors; paper trimmer; glue dots; 3D dimensional POP dots; your regular adhesive; black stamping ink; pencil and eraser; ruler (preferably clear); Sharpie Opaque white pen; hole punch or Crop-O-Dile.

"Stamp Out Hunger"!

Last year, Memories & Beyond collected food for the needy

with our postman and it was a great success because of you!

This year being Mother's Day weekend, we are offering a free Make-N-Take to any person, young or old, that brings in some non-perishable food items only.

This special Make-N-Take is for Mother's Day. You will be decorating a little flower pot, making a paper flower out of punches and making a Mother's Day card for your special Mom!

This year's drive is currently scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2007.
