All Things Spring
There is no turning back now, ladies . . . Spring is FINALLY here. Let’s scrap some current Spring photos or ones you’ve had in your collection for some time. This layout is VERY versatile and allows you to use photos of basically anything that coordinates with these yummy, pastel spring patterns. We will be using stamps and die-cut letters for our title, so the sky’s the limit on the wording you choose. During the class we will be talking about the element of “balance” on your scrapbook page, the use of visual triangles, pattern cutting, and photo placement. For this layout you do not need to make any photo enlargements. The focal photo is a 4x6 vertical print and the other 6 photos are all wallet size (2 ½ x 3 ½ inches – 4 vertical and 2 horizontal). You can bring your photos into Memories & Beyond before class and have your 4x6 prints converted to wallet size or feel free to bring your 4x6 prints and crop them to wallet size in class. I’m looking forward to helping you create a great Spring layout that is sure to shine in your album! See you soon – Connie
Below is a list of supplies that might be helpful to bring along to the class. However, please still come even if you don’t have all of these supplies, as I will bring my own stash to share if needed. photos: (1) 4x6 inch vertical photo and (6) wallet size photos (4 vertical and 2 horizontal); journaling: approximately 4 lines of text, 5 inches wide printed on white cardstock (I used the font called Southern Accent Belch that can be downloaded from the internet for free); scissors; paper trimmer; corner rounder; glue dots; 3D dimensional POP dots; your regular adhesive; black writing marker; pencil and eraser; ruler (preferably clear); Sharpie Opaque white pen; stapler with pink staples; black stamping ink.
